Event Rules
1. REGISTRATIONS AND WITHDRAWALS:
- A. Only those who have submitted the registration form and paid the relevant fees in a timely manner may participate in the tournament;
- B. participants who withdraw from the tournament after registrations are closed and before 19th October 2025, will be charged €100.00 and the remaining participation fee will be refunded;
- C. participants who withdraw from the tournament starting from 20th October 2025, will not receive a refund of the paid fee.
2. EQUIPMENT CHECK:
- A. During the technical opening meeting of the tournament, all players must show their bats and gloves to the Referees;
- B. Bats and gloves will be measured according to the standards set by the international technical regulations and validated;
- C. Before the start of each match, Referees will check for total absence of light in the blackout masks and stamps on the game bats.
3. MATCHES:
- A. All matches will be played best of 5 sets;
- B. All matches will be numbered with a specific schedule, spaced 50 minutes, and played without time limits;
- C. If a player is more than 5 minutes late for the scheduled game time, the match will be awarded to the player present, who will be awarded 1 point;
- D. If both players are late, 0 points to each of them.
4. SCORING:
- A. A player who wins the match will be awarded 1 point;
- B. A player who loses the match will be awarded 0 points.
5. TIEBREAKERS BETWEEN PLAYERS:
In the group rankings, in case of a tie in points among multiple players, the following criteria will be decisive:
- A. Head-to-head matches among players with equal points;
- B. Considering head-to-head matches, in case of further tie, the set difference between players with equal points will be considered;
- C. Considering the set difference, in case of further tie, the difference between points scored and points conceded among players with equal points will be calculated;
- D. Considering the difference between points scored and points conceded, in case of further tie, the player with the highest number of points scored in all group matches among players with equal points will be considered;
6. ACCEPTANCE OF REGULATIONS:
Participation in the tournament implies the implicit acceptance of the rules of these regulations by all players, coaches, and accompanying persons.
7. REFERENCE RULES:
For anything not covered in these regulations, reference shall be made to the specific international regulations in force at the time of the tournament.
